What medium do you use?
Pen and ink.
You say images can be reduced or enlarged as required, what do you mean?
Once a picture is computer-scanned it can be reproduced in a smaller or larger format based on the dimensions you require. This ensures the piece will fit in the area you have chosen. The picture can be printed on paper ready to be framed, or stretched and mounted onto canvas (off white background).
Where do you get your inspiration from?
As I don't plan my pictures, I just follow my instinct after the first line or shape appears - I'd love to say it's more organised than that, but it isn't!
How long does it take you to draw a picture?
This varies from a few days to a few weeks, depending very much on the amount of detail or 'colouring in' I have to do.
What happens if a picture goes wrong?
Because my drawings are completely abstract, there is little scope for something to go wrong. However, if I'm really not happy I won't continue with the drawing.
Where did you train?
I didn't. Drawing is a hobby and something I do to unwind and relax.
